EDI providers of the POOL-TSPs project prepare their electronic billing solutions to adapt them to the European Union EN regulations. This project, coordinated by the University Research Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies, promotes cross-border transactions between European entities.

The University of Valencia, through IRTIC, coordinates since last July a project that will allow 10 electronic billing providers to improve their solutions to comply with the European Standard (EN) for cross-border transactions. The implementations are being carried out by each EDI provider that participates in the project.

In addition, the 10 PEPPOL (AP) access points of the project will adapt, test and validate their solutions to allow the use of both syntaxes (UBL 2.1 and CEFACT / CII) corresponding to the EN when invoices are exchanged through PEPPOL access points .

Interoperability tests and compliance of electronic invoicing are planned for the month of June of this year. The APs will demonstrate that their electronic invoice solution is operational for the exchange of EN invoices.
