Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, has attended the Conference organized by the Chair of Family Business, University of Valencia, which was held on December 1, 2023.

In this conference, the study "The perception of university students about work alternatives and the family business" has been presented, in which a measurement has been made of the perceptions of university students about the characteristics and working conditions they expect to find in family businesses as a potential workplace, comparing their perceptions with those they would expect to achieve in a hypothetical ideal organization.

The study has identified the types of organizations that are most attractive to university students, and has verified the differences between different types of universities (public vs. private).

The results of the study conducted by the Chair of Family Business of the University of Valencia (CEFUV) have implications for those responsible for employment and career guidance in schools, for human resources departments in companies and for the business world in general.
