INTRAS receives the official visit of a delegation of the Directorate General of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior of the Government of Spain, headed by its Director, on February 6, 2024.

The delegation was received by Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, and the members of the Permanent Board.

The Director General of Traffic, Pere Navarro, was accompanied by Álvaro Bruno Gómez, Director of the National Road Safety Observatory, as well as by the Provincial Traffic Chief of Valencia, María Pilar Funez.

On behalf of the University of Valencia, Ángeles Solanes, Vice Rector of Lifelong Learning, Teaching Transformation and Employment, also attended the event, representing the Rector, who was unable to attend due to scheduling problems.

After a visit to our facilities, presenting some researchers and works, and showing some resources, they held a meeting where they talked about the history of INTRAS and the excellent working relationship and collaboration with the DGT in a common aspiration: to reach the approach of Vision Zero deaths and injuries from accidents.
