DS4M Mediterráneo will organize a gathering at the 2026 Data Spaces Hackathon—to be held on the 26th and 27th at Las Naves (Valencia)—bringing together students, young professionals, companies, and institutions to develop innovative solutions based on secure data sharing.
DS4M Mediterráneo’s participation will kick off at 9:45 AM with a keynote presentation by Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS and the DS4M Mediterráneo project, focusing on the role of Data Spaces in building smarter, safer, and human-centric mobility. Following this, at 10:00 AM, a panel discussion moderated by Juan Bueno (Movea) will bring together Francisco Paz (Valencian Association for Road Safety), Luís Roda (EMT València), Antonio García (Ajuntament de València), and Mireia Faus (Representative of INTRAS – Universitat de València) to debate how data spaces can drive more connected, inclusive, and sustainable mobility.
Over the two days, hackathon participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to solve real-world challenges linked to data spaces, fostering collaboration among talent, companies, and public entities to accelerate the digital transformation of mobility. Winners will receive prizes valued at over 1,000 euros, making it a great opportunity to showcase their talent and ideas.
An event that reinforces DS4M Mediterráneo’s commitment to unlocking the value of data and proposing real solutions to today’s mobility challenges.
