Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, has attended the III Latin American Infrastructure Forum 20-21 whose First Conference, entitled "Economic recovery and employment in the post-pandemic period: comparative experiences in Latin America and the role of infrastructure", was held online on 3 December 2020.

The Forum is organised by the Latin American Development Bank (CAF), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Chilean Infrastructure Policy Council (CPI) and the Inter-American Federation of the Construction Industry (FIIC)

Its objective has been to share experiences and points of view among those responsible for public policy in infrastructure in the countries of the region, institutions and the business world about the new directions in this field, following the traumatic experiences of the pandemic caused by COVID 19 and the impact this has had on local economies.
