
On July 23, 2020, the National Strategic Plan for Electric Mobility of the Dominican Republic was officially launched, with the collaboration of Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS.
The National Strategic Plan for Electric Mobility has been prepared by the Inter-American Development Bank for the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation, and aims to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels to improve the environment of the Dominican Republic.
This plan arises as a response to the commitment assumed by the country on electric mobility and climate change, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030.
