Prof. Dr. Francisco Alonso participated in the Urban Mobility Data Hub (UMDH) event, organised by valgrAI in Valencia under the title "Data and Mobility: A Shared Vision for the City of Tomorrow". The session focused on how mobility data can transform urban management, featuring real use cases, specialised talks and a roundtable discussion that highlighted the need for collaboration between public administration, industry and research to move this field forward.

Prof. Dr. Francisco Alonso took part in the roundtable alongside representatives from different sectors linked to smart mobility: Juan Bueno, CEO of Movea Consulting; Ciro Ferrer Gómez, Councillor for Mobility at Vilamarxant Town Hall; Vicente Julián, Full Professor at the Department of Computer Systems and Computation and researcher at VRAIN, Universitat Politècnica de València; and Juan Germán Tapia Perales, CPO of Mettis AI.

The discussion centred on the creation of interoperable data ecosystems applied to urban mobility, autonomous vehicles and smart cities, underscoring the fundamental role of research in building a safer and more sustainable mobility future.
