On February 28, 2020, INTRAS received the visit of Mr. Antonio Medina Calcaño, Vice Chancellor of Extension of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and the President of CSVial Freddy García, who have been attended by Dr. Cristina Esteban, INTRAS Secretary.

Mr. Medina took advantage of this trip to our country to deliver the framework agreement signed between the University of Valencia and said institution, signed by both Rectors.

This agreement is intended to facilitate interuniversity cooperation in the fields of education and research and extension in the three cycles of higher education, with Dr. Francisco Alonso being the representative, by the University of Valencia, to define and organize cooperation programs between both institutions.

The UASD is the only public university in the Dominican Republic. Its headquarters are located in the capital, Santo Domingo, and it has enclosures, centers and sub-centers in 18 of 31 provinces.
