You must also fill in the application form and the auditions will take place in the Charles Darwin Hall at the Burjassot Campus. The usual practice schedule will be from September to June, every Monday from 7pm to 10pm and every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm, in the Charles Darwin Hall. Candidates must be under 23 of age and must be in the final years of professional music studies. You will have priority if you are also studying at university.

Grants for musical training are offered for both musical and pedagogical training. UV students will receive an academic recognition of 2 ECTS credits per year; and in turn, students of the Joaquín Rodrigo Music Conservatory in Valencia and the Salvador Seguí Music Conservatory in Castellón will also receive an academic recognition as an external music internship, also 2 ECTS credits per academic year.

Likewise, participation in the OFUV will facilitate opportunities for soloists to perform in chamber and orchestral concerts and chamber ensembles, as well as the possibility of participating in national and/or international tours.

Since its creation in 1995, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Universitat de València has become one of the most relevant orchestras on the Spanish university scene. Every year it welcomes new students and provides the 80 young musicians who make up the orchestra with high-quality training in orchestral performance. The orchestra is conducted by Hilari Garcia Gázquez.
