Convened the awards for Young Female Scientific Talent, which will distribute 10,000 euros in four categories

The Royal Academy of Sciences Foundation of Spain (FRACE), in collaboration with Mastercard, announces the 3rdEdition of the Royal Academy of Sciences Foundation Awards for Young Female Scientific Talent 2022. This recognition of the work of female scientists up to 45 years of age is structured in four categories: mathematics, physics and chemistry, biology and geology, and science applications to technology. The prizes are endowed with 2,500 euros per category and the presentation period ends on October 15.
This initiative of the Foundation and Mastercard is part of the strategy to help young Spanish scientists make their talent visible and support them in consolidating their careers in the field of science and technology. The awards ceremony will be held in Madrid on February 9, 2023 on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is the 11th.
Those eligible for these science awards are female scientists of Spanish nationality, as well as foreigners whose professional career has been developed mainly in Spain, and who in September 2022 are 45 years old or younger. The candidates must have made outstanding contributions to science, whether in research, development, innovation, or teaching. Their activity may have been carried out in academic, business or administration fields.
