The Doctoral School organises in ADEIT the 2nd Dissemination Workshop of Theses

The 2nd Dissemination Workshop of Doctoral Theses, organised by the Doctoral School of the Universitat de València (UV), will be celebrated in the Fundación Universidad Empresa ADEIT of the academic institution on Friday, 26 September, between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm. One of the three awarded people will participate in the finals of the dissemination contest of thesis for researchers in their initial pre-doctoral period from all the associated universities to FORTHEM.
The FORTHEM Researchers Grand Prix 2025 will be celebrated on 6 November in the Bourgogne Europe University of Dijon (France). The Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Internationalisation and Cooperation, will offer a training for the selected person, that will have to defend their thesis in 4 minutes in English, and will be in charge of any trip expenses to the city of Dijon for the final.
The order in which the fourteen selected people will intervene on 26 September in ADEIT is the next: Gabriela Musterova (Psychogerontology), Eva María Navarro Ortega (Optometry and Vision Science), Paola Palomino Flores (Communication and interculturality), Reiner Fuentes (Psychological Research), Geraldine Sánchez Duéñez (Sustainable Chemistry), José Luis Sanz Aleixandre (Medicine) and María Serra Soriano (Finances and Qualitative Economy). Encarnación María Torres Ferrer (Communication and interculturality), Ana Florencia Alanis (Food Science), Eva Buades Martínez (Gender and Equality Policies), Laura Garrido Rey (Electronic Engineering), Lola Giner Pérez (Biomedicine and Biotechnology), María de Mar Luna Manteca (Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology) and Iona-Felicia Marín (Social Sciences) will also participate.
The Workshop will be presented from 9:30 to 10:00 am; between 10:00 and 11:00 am half of the theses will be exhibited; from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, the second block of exhibitions of thesis will take place; and from 12:30 to 13:30 pm, while the jury deliberates, Anabel Forte, researcher from the Department of Statistics and Operational Research (UV), will pronounce the conference “La divulgación como forma de supervivencia”, in which she will analyse the role of scientific dissemination as a wall against misinformation, as well as a communication tool that is currently key. At 3:30 pm the three selected people will be announced, and will obtain an award of 300, 250 and 200 euros.
For the 26 September act, the jury will be formed by María Amparo Tórtola Baixauli, director of the Doctoral School of the Universitat de València (Department of Theoretical Physics); Rafael Castelló Cogollos (Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology); Gianni Gallello, (Department of Prehistory, Archaeology and Old History); Carlos Romá Mateo (Department of Physiology) and Julia Suso López (Department of Finance Economy and Accounting).
The 2nd Dissemination Workshop of Theses has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECyT) of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Forthem alliance, and they collaborate with the Scientific Culture Unit of the Universitat de València.
