Conference on 29 November in Riba-roja de Túria. Light pollution is an environmental pollution produced by the emission of direct or indirect light into the atmosphere, coming from nocturnal artificial lights with excessive intensities, incorrect orientations, spectral ranges (colours) and at inadequate times. The human-made light creates a luminous background that surrounds the cities and prevents a total darkness, even when there is not an illumination in the nearby area.
