Sometimes, enjoying a fiction, either by reading a novel or watching a film or a theatre play, Carles Alberola says, I have had the feeling that they were telling a part of my life. A secret, private part that suddenly becomes public iwht the words, the bodies, the voice and the problems of some fictional characters who, a priori, were not related at all to me. That is one of the powers of fiction, to put ourselves in front of a deformed mirror to show us our coveted wishes, what we are, what we feel, and even that what we can become in the future. To sum up, to show us our soul and make us react. Because that is, I believe, the ultimate sense of fiction, make us understand that the history, our history, begins every time that someone looks at us, takes our hand or says good morning.
