The project proposes the design of a mixed method that combines traditional educational channels with the free use of social networks close to the target age groups.

To this end, both for the design of the methodology and for its implementation, the main secondary schools in the municipalities of Sagunto and Canet must be involved. In each educational centre there should be teachers responsible for the subject who, in addition, integrate it into the teaching programme of their subjects as a task to be carried out. It would be interesting to integrate it into subjects related to the environment (Geography, Geology, Biology, Natural Sciences, Environmental Knowledge, etc.).

In order to train secondary school teachers who wish to participate in the project, the CEFIRE of Sagunto has offered a training workshop entitled ‘Knowing the mouth of the Palancia River. The Asociación Acció Ecologista-Agró will periodically organise excursions along the river with thematic educational campaigns: the living beings of the river (botanical and zoological tours), the geomorphology of the river (recognition of the parts of the alluvial fan), the anthropic occupation of the river, etc. in order to help pupils to get to know the environment.
