19 September: the series “Confessions of Design” - MacDiego will be interviewed by Elena Yuste and Sheila Moreno about the creative sector in Valencia and the conflicts of yesterday and today at La Nave.

The València Design Fest programme also offers a journey back to the 1980s, when València established itself as a hub for disruptive design in Spain. In a context of cultural effervescence and the opening up of previously existing borders, innovative movements emerged that broke with established norms, and the Fundació del Disseny proposes to recapture that essence with a series of activities organised in collaboration with the Arxiu Valencià del Disseny, which will give an account of this with some of the leading figures in fashion and architecture of the time.

On 15 September, there will be a meeting and round table discussion with some of the leading figures of the Tráfico de Modas brand on Valencian fashion in the 1970s and 1980s, with a visit to the exhibition of the same name at La Nau. Also at La Nau, on 19 September, the series “Confessions of Design” will begin, bringing two generations face to face: MacDiego will be interviewed by Elena Yuste and Sheila Moreno about the Valencian creative sector and the conflicts of yesterday and today.
