The AERONET (AErosol RObotic NETwork) project is a federation of ground-based remote sensing aerosol networks established by NASA and PHOTONS (PHOtométrie pour le Traitement Opérationnel de Normalisation Satellitaire; Univ. de Lille 1, CNES, and CNRS-INSU) and is greatly extended by networks (e.g. RIMA, AeroSpan, AEROCAN and CARSNET) and collaborators from national agencies, institutes, universities, individual scientists and partners. For more than 25 years, the project has provided a long-term, continuous and easily accessible public domain database of aerosol optical, microphysical and radiative properties for aerosol research and characterisation, validation of satellite retrievals and synergy with other databases. The network is responsible for instrument standardisation, calibration, processing and distribution. The GRSV provides real-time data to NASA's international AERONET (Aerosol Robotic Network). Public data are available via the website https://aeronet.gsfc.nasa.gov.

The main objectives of SKYNET are to quantitatively assess the long-term variations of aerosol and cloud properties, and hence of atmospheric radiation reaching the surface, and to understand their effects on climate due to aerosol-cloud-solar interaction. In addition, validation of satellite observations from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as well as climate model simulations and data assimilation, are also part of the scope of SKYNET's activity. To achieve these goals, SKYNET observes the optical and microphysical properties of aerosols and clouds and measures atmospheric radiation, based on close international collaboration between national agencies, institutes and universities mainly in Asia and Europe.

This diploma is aimed at undergraduates, graduates and university graduates interested in the teaching and learning of English and, on the other hand, at practising teachers of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education who wish to develop their knowledge and improve their practice in the teaching of English and the promotion of multiliteracies.
This postgraduate course presents literature and multimodality as fundamental elements in the teaching and learning of English in the 21st century to provide students with the opportunity to develop their literacy, not only in terms of basic reading and writing skills, but as a process of mediation to facilitate interaction with different types of texts, and to foster the production of meaning and knowledge of the world.
Novels, animated short films, images, music, picture books, etc. are resources and modes of expression that are constantly used for communicative, socio-cultural or artistic purposes. In line with the proposal of the Pedagogy of Multiliteracies (New London Group 1996), we conceive reading and the creation of meaning as a dynamic process of transformation that must take place in language teaching from preschool education to secondary education.
