Amaldi, born in 1934 in Rome and was graduated in Physics by the University of Rome. His interest in teaching and spreading of the physics accompanies him from the beginnings of his researching career.
Professor Ugo Amaldi, whose relation with the CERN (European Laboratory of Particle Physics) dates back to 1960, has developed an intense scientific activity and he is also a researcher that has gone beyond his specialisation field and has shown interest both in atomic and nuclear physics and in, equally, the application of the discoveries in these medicine fields.
