Based on the Regulations on the organisation and functioning of the University Ombuds Office, the Ombuds officer: 

  • Will not admit anonymous complaints or observations nor the complaints made with insufficient substantiation or without an identifiable pretension.
  • Will not review individually the pending judicial complaints or administrative record and will suspend any action initiated when the lawsuit or remedy is proposed to the ordinary courts.

It’s advisable that all instances provided for by the applicable university regulations be used before filing a claim.

The requests to the Ombuds officer made by electronic mail shall be done through the institutional mail with the domain “uv.es”, specific for each member of the unviersity community (Administrative and Service Staff [PAS], teaching and research staff [PDI] or students).
