This meeting was specially designed for cooperative enterprises willing to reduce their energy consumption through an energy community.

On July 7th 2022, the Chair for Agri-Food Cooperatives of Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain and the Universitat de València -UVchairs-, in collaboration with the SDG Laboratory of the Valencian Government, organised the conference 'Energy Communities and Agri-Food Cooperatives', which analysed the possibility for Agri-Food Cooperatives to set up an energy community.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, and could be followed either online or in person at the Caixa Popular headquarters in Paterna.

At the conference, the first conclusions of the Guide being developed by the Chair on the legal and fiscal aspects of its constitution were presented, so that feedback from the sector could be obtained. 

In addition, cases of agri-food cooperatives with experience in this area were presented.
