Funding

Currently, there are two doctoral students working as Research Fellows at the University of Valencia under predoctoral contracts. These contracts, highly competitive, are the result of selective calls. In the case of the doctoral candidate Paula García Balaguer, her contract is supported by a grant for university professor training (FPU22), granted by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities of the Government of Spain. On the other hand, Alba Herrero Gracia obtained her predoctoral contract through an internal call of the University of Valencia, within the "Talent Attraction 2022" subprogram. Thanks to these grants, the doctoral candidates can progress in their respective thesis projects and also participate in teaching undergraduate and master's degree courses in Optics and Optometry.
