Chair for Audiovisual Prospects and Analysis (CAPA)

On Tuesday 17 December 2023 the Valencian government authorised the creation of the Chair for Audiovisual Prospects and Analysis (CAPA) through the framework agreement between the Audiovisual Council of the Valencian Community and the five Valencian public universities, all of which offer communication studies: the Universitat de València, the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, the University of Alicant and the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.

Objective of the CAPA Chair

The Chair’s main objective is to create a space for research related to the audiovisual world as a vector of knowledge and communication and related to the trends of the transformation of the communicative system as a result of the convergence of the communication industry, the knowledge industry and telecommunications and analysis of its various social implantation.
