The project “Estudio de la calidad estética de tres centros educativos valencianos” UV-INV-AE15_332576 is being developed thanks to the participation of three public schools with only one line of teaching of Alicante: CEIP Cañada del Fenollar, CEIP José Carlos Aguilera and CEIP Maestro López Soria.
Head reasearcher Amparo Alonso-Sanz tackles the everyday aesthetic of the school environment as a way to improve the teaching quality. From a multidisciplinary and complete approach, three factors are considered to be key in the school aesthetic quality:
- the bodily and sensory experience of the users,
- the design and architecture of early childhood and primary schools,
- the visual culture deployed in schools.
