CREARI Cultural Pedagogy Research Group (GIUV2013-103) is dedicated to studying cultural synergies and educational actions, incorporating advances in digital technologies and visual culture, from a position that is very involved with the social, political and cultural issues of each moment. Among the objectives of the CREARI group we highlight:
- To work on the teacher education, taking into account new digital environments, prioritizing cooperation criteria and making projects for new educational models.
- To generate national and international projects.
- To promote Human Rights through the strengthening of research in favour of LGBT groups and gender equality policies.
- To disseminate research through the publication EARI Art Education Research Journal. This is a reference publication in Latin America.
- To open research lines related to educational and artistic projects, incorporating new references.
- To support the continuing education of the groups that make up educational institutions, making them participants in our projects.
- To promote publications and other forms of dissemination that reflect the activity of the group and of all the institutions that support us and with which we collaborate.
- To launch innovative projects related to art education, technology education, social science education and cultural pedagogies.
- To generate spaces for communication between the actors of contemporary art, history, archaeology, and educational institutions.
- To strength the encounter between universities, schools, museums and technologies.
- To value digital pedagogies as a new factor of educational, social and diversity defence potential.
- To advance in the promotion of creativity, both individual and collective.
