Samoa Prieto's poster “Unmasking Essentiality: How Yeast Bypasses eIF5A Dysfunction Through Transcriptional Rewiring”
From June 16 to 20, 2025, PhD student Samoa Prieto took part in the FEBS Workshop “Conservation and Diversity of Gene Regulatory Mechanisms across Eukaryotes”.
The workshop was held in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Spain. Samoa Prieto participated presenting a poster entitled “Unmasking Essentiality: How Yeast Bypasses eIF5A Dysfunction Through Transcriptional Rewiring”.
The workshop brought together international experts in molecular biology and genomics to discuss the latest advances in gene regulatory mechanisms in both model and non-model organisms. Participation in this event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, establish collaborations, and explore new methodologies applicable to the laboratory’s research project.
