The priority tasks of the CDE are:

• Fomenting and promoting studies and research about European integration.
• Making easy the access to information about the EU and the politics
• Participating in the debate about the EU along with other information networks

Apart from having access to all the publications and data bases of the many community institutions, the CDE has benefited from the beginning from the access to the internet that the Red Iris provides in all the Spanish universities. The CDE, with their server and their electronic newsletter Info-Europe, serves as reference in the interested community in the community information of our country.
