The project European December was born with the goal of promoting the debate about the future of Europe as a common space of cultural and social exchange, the Universitat de València, takes during the month of December, along with the Rector Peset Hall of Residence (CMRP) as main space of meeting, the programming of debates, exhibitions, conferences, cinema and concerts.

This project has its origin in the impulse and coordination of many organisms pertaining to the Universitat de València, such as the Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation, the Rector Peset Hall of Residence and the European Documentation Centre of the University of Valencia General Foundation. And is fruit of the collaboration of many institutions and extern public organisms which are the Delegation of the Valencian Council for the European Union and the Extern Relations of the Government of the Valencian Community, the Valencia City Council, the Valencia Provincial Council and the Europe Direct office of Valencia.
