What is the European Documentation Centre?

The European Documentation Centres (CDE) are resource centres that support learning, teaching, research and continuous training in topics related to relations with the European Union. The CDEs created in 1963 by the European Commission and the current ones conform a network of more than 300 centres, present in 27 member countries.

The CDE of the Universitat de València is part of the Europe Direct Network of information centres from the European Commission and participates in the project Spain-European Union Digital Archive (SEDAS), digital repository in open access.

Their goal is being a point of reference in resolving the informative necessities of the citizenship and the professional world about the European Union; promoting the dissemination and knowledge of community politics.
