Synopsis

Paris, Autumn 1772

The Sade family tries by all means to take me out of prison. However, I have escaped to Venice and this has changed my mother-in-law’s plans. Now all the influence of the nobles is trying to imprison me once again.

Paris, Summer 1778

My mother-in-law’s trickery and the pursuit have imprisoned me once again. The tensions within my family lead to chaos and the ruin of aristocratic houses. Hate and wickedness have put behind bars the freest man in Paris.

Paris, Spring 1790

The horrors of the end of the century have make the people revolt. Finally, I have been released thanks to the destruction of the “carte blanches” and the power of the people, who are tired of injustice.
