Performance of Antonia Bueno’s work
In 2011, playwright and director Antonia Bueno wrote a short, intense story after a conversation in Berlin with Teresa Renau Bellester. In that same year, her story Manolita en la frontera (Manolita on the border) earned her a place as a finalist in the 10th Women in Art Short Narrative Contest of the Valencia City Council. This text, which traces the continuous exodus that defined the life of Manuela Ballester, is the foundation for this stage performance by actress Anna Millas.
