MOVEMENT WORKSHOP-LABORATORY
COS I GÈNERE
(Registration until July 2)
Workshop and laboratory space to explore, experiment and get close to movement and the dance practice from an open-gender perspective. In this workshop, participants will receive guidance to know the relationship of the body, its movement and the physical languages with the representations, concepts and ideas established as specific to men and women. This practice is done with the goal of offering a space of personal awareness and symbolic transformation of body and verbal languages, besides brining participants closer to a dance and live arts practice.
Once the movement Workshop-Laboratory is over, attendees are offered to actively and collectively take part in the performative installation Sive Deus, Sive Dea, which will take place late on July 9th, at the Cloister of La Nau Cultural Centre.
Venue, days and timetable of the Workshop-Laboratory
From Monday, July 5th, to Thursday, July 8th; from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at La Nau Cultural Centre’s Sala Matilde Salvador. (Participants are advised to come with comfortable clothes, sport shoes and water)
Audience:
Open to the whole community of the Universitat de València (PAS, PDI and students) and all the interested audience. For reason of compliance with the capacity allowed by COVID-19 safety norms, only the requests of the first 10 people interested in registering will be accepted.
