The writer Lula Carballo will offer us a bilingual reading workshop of her own texts where the migratory and intercultural experience is especially present. The workshop is open to anyone, whether or not they are university students. It is of particular interest to students of Philology and Translation.

Lula Carballo (1988) is originally from Uruguay. She arrived in Quebec at the age of 15. She did a Master's degree in Literary Creation at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). She is involved in the work of adaptation and immersion in the French language of migrants and refugees who have recently arrived in Quebec. Her poems and translations can be found in the magazines Estuaire and Moebius.
