Short and featurette film lab

Learning and tutoring space for filmmakers who have a short film or featurette project and want to give it the necessary impetus for its realisation with the best guarantees of success and with the support of Torino Short Film Market.

Guided by industry professionals, participants will enjoy five days of training in Valencia: from the 7th to the 11th of November 2022 (both inclusive), with theoretical classes on screenwriting, knowledge of the film industry, creation of sales dossiers, marketing training and preparation of pitching in English.

The registration  period will remain open until the 20th of May until the 18th of July 2022, through the General Foundation Courses platform.

GOALS

1. Develop your project mentored by prestigious professionals from the national and international audiovisual sector. 

2. Create a network of contacts, collaborators and networking with expert professionals and other project representatives.

3. How to gain access to festivals, international forums and other collaborative development spaces.

4. A work community and space in the Universitat de València.

5. To learn the keys to finding financing, co-production and distribution.

Fiction, animation and documentary works will be accepted.

TORINO SHORT FILM MARKET 2022

This last stage will take place in the city of Turin (Italy) during the Torino Short Film Market 2022 (TSFM) from November the 27th until the 30th 2022.

The winning project of the WORD-FRAME LA CABINA VALÈNCIA -selected by the coordinators among the eight (8) projects in training- will be invited to the on-site workshop during the TSFM international market: workshop, preparation and development of on-site pitching with European production companies and the management of individual appointment with guests from the audiovisual industry.

The TSFM covers the accommodation costs of the selected project and all training costs.
