Goals
- Establish cohesion between educational research and didactic innovation in order to foster critical thinking and value teaching contributions in methods and social representations of teaching to train conscious citizens
- Conduct research on education to develop a didactic methodology that favours learning about social problems
- Identify issues in the teaching and learning of social sciences and propose resources and methodologies that allow the integral and social development of students
- Conduct research on educational methodologies in relation to social representations with teachers and students from other regions of Spain, Latin America and the world. The aim is to create a virtual community related to institutions such as REDLADGEO, Nós Propomos!, Geoforo Iberoamericano and Profesores Historia Iberoamericanos, among others.
- Conduct research on models of teacher training that promote autonomous learning, enabling individuals to develop criteria for argumentation and decision-making
