The 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers are divided into four thematic areas in order to facilitate their implementation and monitoring.
These four areas are as follows:
- Ethical and professional aspects
- Recruitment and selection
- Working conditions and social security
- Training and development
Institutions engaged in the implementation of HRS4R must ensure that their strategy encompasses all of these areas. The Universitat de València is committed to upholding the 40 principles of the Code and the Charter, both with services specifically tailored to research and research staff and those that cover the general needs of the wider university community.
