Working conditions and social security

The Universitat de València is committed to ensuring optimal working conditions for all its staff, regardless of their profile or type of contract. The UV Statutes guarantee the rights of non-discrimination, representation and participation of the entire university community. In particular, the Statutes guarantee teaching and research staff a number of rights including job security, collective bargaining of working conditions and participation in the UV’s governing bodies, both central and those of departments, centres, institutes, etc.

Furthermore, the UV provides the university community other means of communicating their complaints or suggestions, such as the UV Mailbox or the Ombuds Office. This ensures that any individual requiring assistance or guidance with regard to any issue that may arise in the course of their work will receive the necessary support.
