During the first days of June, the Faculty of Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid hosted the International Congress The Relevance of Marx Today: New Readings and Perspectives, a gathering that brought together some of the most influential voices in contemporary Marxist thought. Among the invited speakers were renowned figures such as Terry Eagleton, Silvia Federici, Pierre Dardot, and Felipe Martínez Marzoa, along with other prominent researchers from across Spain.

Within this context, our colleague Antonio Benedito Casanova (University of Valencia) contributed with a paper titled K. Marx’s Critique of Theoretical Materialisms: Assumptions and Consequences.
