Our colleague Sandra Obiol is one of the authors of the book coordinated by Martina Yopo from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, which explores motherhood from various disciplines and perspectives.
Obiol, together with Catalina Arteaga, a professor at the University of Chile, co-authored the chapter "The Centrality of the Motherhood Model in Care Policies: An Approach from Chile and Spain", a comparative analysis of recent developments in public care policies in both countries.
The book was published by Fondo de Cultura Económica and was presented on May 8th at the GAM Cultural Center, with the attendance of Javiera Toro, Chile's Minister of Social Development and Family, as well as a broad representation of the contributing authors.
