Also dubbed the “culture economy” or “orange economy”, the creative industries are those activities that generate surplus value and employment from culture and research. In a way, they are a consequence of deindustrialization and the Welfare State, and they are in full swing because they are linked to cultural tourism, creative leisure and post-Fordist consumption.

Can be divided into three posibilities:

  1. the cultural nucleus of creation and production;
  2. those that promote the use and its diffusion and, finally,
  3. indirect industries that provide the necessary inputs for the core of the sector.
