Description
This project was focused on recovering, documenting, and selecting German traveller texts on Spain. It was aimed at gathering a representative corpus, which enabled to study the presence of Spain in German-language travel literature, attending both to the routes explored and to the cultural, historical, and social images transmitted by these testimonies.
The project established an essential documentary base for further research projects of the group on imagology, intercultural relations, and German perception of Hispanic world.
