Material resources and services available (laboratories and workshops, library, access to databases, connectivity, etc.):

1. Telecommunications and bibliographic resources:

- Wi-Fi network in the centre’s building, with Internet access via EDUROAM for users of the Faculty of Physiotherapy and any link to this network and VPN configuration for enquiries regarding the Universitat de València Intranet from any computer, in any location, with Internet connection.
- Virtual Classroom on the Universitat de València Intranet to facilitate the sharing of information between the teaching staff and students (publication of assignments, summaries of syllabuses, last minute information, notices) and to speed up feedback between both.
- A computer room with Internet connection, dedicated to teaching, located in the centre of the Faculty (with 54 computers and a projector linked to the teacher's computer) and another classroom, with 10 computers with Internet connection and access to the Intranet, for free use by students and shared between centres on the same campus.
- Desktop computers in all classrooms for teaching use with connection to the Internet and the Intranet of the Universitat de València.
- 7 laptops configured to automatically connect to the Internet with the centre’s Wi-Fi network.
- I.P. telephone service in the Concierge and Secretary's Office.

1536 manuals and monographs on Physiotherapy and 1309 manuals on other subjects.

3. Periodicals:

Periodicals. Most of the journals currently subscribed by the Universitat are electronic. In the TROBES catalogue, paper journals, 39 titles are catalogued, of which 37 are closed and 2 are open. There are DATA BASES of foreign publications, in Spanish and Evidence Based Medicine, as well as different general health and specialised dictionaries and encyclopaedias.

5. Facilities

Research and teaching laboratories:

The equipment of each of the laboratories is detailed below:

- LABORATORY M05A, M05B y M06A, M06B and M07A M07B: Each laboratory has a capacity for 32 students. The glass cabinets contain functional dressing material (tape, pre-tape, gauze bandages, elastic bandages, duck-tip scissors, foam for bandage padding, aluminium splints, spray, etc.). Classroom equipment: wall-mounted and portable blackboard, projection screen, projector and computer with Internet connection, single wall bar (1), double wall bar (2), hydraulic stretchers (5), fixed stretchers (3), isodynamic device (1), stools (3), walkers (8), crutches (20), 2-body negatoscope (1), small mats (5), stretcher and hand roll holders (1). Each classroom.

- LABORATORY 4: Classroom with capacity for 16 students. Classroom equipment: single wall bar, 1-2 cupboards with general laboratory material (pads, sheets, wedges) and massage creams, hydraulic stretchers (8), stools (16), stretcher and hand roll holders, goniometers, measuring tapes, balls, elastic bands of various colours, rehabilitation balls, etc.

- LABORATORY 5: Classroom with capacity for 16 students. Classroom equipment: single wall bar, 1-2 cupboards with general laboratory material (pads, sheets, wedges) and massage creams, hydraulic stretchers (8), stools (16), stretcher and hand roll holders, 2 upper limb models, 2 lower limb models, 2 torsos, 1 head model in sheets.

- LABORATORY 6: Classroom with capacity for 16 students. Classroom equipment: single wall bar, 1-2 cupboards with general laboratory material (pads, sheets, wedges) and massage creams, hydraulic stretchers (8), stools (16), stretcher and hand roll holders, 2 upper limb models, 2 lower limb models, 1 torso, 1 model of male sexual organ, artificial skull, columns, arms and legs.

- LABORATORY 7: Classroom with capacity for 16 students. Classroom equipment: single wall bar (1), 9 tables with 17 individual chairs. Infrared lamp (1), Curapuls 419 (short wave) (1), lumbar and cervical traction device (1), bio-feedback (1), Tens (5), Compex® (1), Endomed® 484 (1), Endomed® 582 (1), Endomed® 982 (1), laser (1), cold-heat pads, ultrasound gel, electrodes and sponges. - LABORATORY 8: Classroom with capacity for 16 students. Classroom for research and patient assessment. Classroom equipment: single wall bar (1), rack of dumbbells (1), stretcher and hand roll holders (1), shoulder wheel (1), cervical traction device (1), quadriceps bench (1), set of parallel bars (1), ladder with ramp (1), treadmill (1), ankle exerciser (1), scale (1), measuring rod (1).

- LABORATORY 9 and 10: Classroom with capacity for 16 students each. Classroom equipment: single wall bar (2), 8 cages of Rocher, each with its corresponding stretcher. Several cupboards with: general laboratory material (pads, sheets, wedges), pulley therapy material (pulleys, slings, springs, straps of different sizes, etc.), cage of Rocher (8), hydraulic stretchers (8), stools (16) each, stretcher and hand roll holders, 2-body negatoscope.

Storage room: A storage room is available with all the material necessary to teach the different practical subjects, among others: spirometers (2), CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure machine) (1), sphygmomanometer, maximum and minimum pressure meter (1), pulse oximeters (2), Vitalograf® monitor (1), ultrasonic nebuliser (1), expansion chambers (1), resistivity meters (1), flutters, cornets, airway clearance acapellas, manometers, volumetric stimulators, peak expiratory flow meters (PEF), stethoscopes, consumables (mouthpieces, masks, etc.); locomotor pathology equipment: corsets, collars and consumables.

Research equipment of special relevance: In the commitment to offer top quality teaching and specialisation to PhD students, we have proceeded to purchase modern research equipment for which a significant part of the centre's budget is allocated each year. In these acquisitions, priority is given to the purchase of material suitable for the research lines studied. Among the most relevant acquisitions, we highlight the following:

Other resources of the Faculty

In addition, there are individual and shared offices for teaching staff and student services, as well as for administrative and service staff. Specifically, there are 37 offices, a reprographics room and a room for the teaching staff. There is also a multi-purpose space with material for conducting specific studies on patients who are willing to run some tests that serve to carry out statistics that are the basis for research included in doctoral theses and a space equipped with a tatami and various material for conducting studies that include the development of activities typical of the discipline of Physiotherapy as a basis for research work.
