On 27 and 28 January 2022, the Conference "From Valencian Mediation to Mediation in Latin America", organised by the Institutional Culture for Legal Mediation Chair, was held at the Paranimf of the University of Valencia, with the inauguration of the Principal.
After the inauguration of the Rector and the intervention of the Director of the Chair, an exposition and debate on Valencian mediation from the judicial point of view and from the experience of different mediating entities and institutions began. The event on the 27th culminated with the intervention of the Consellera de Justícia, Administració Publica i Interior, who illustrated and provided information on the activities to promote and support mediation that have been carried out and are currently being developed, as well as the joint activities that can be carried out and that are an essential part of the Culture for Legal Mediation Chair of the UV, subsidised by the Conselleria.
The Congress continued with the Latin American experience, with speakers from seven countries, which shows the enormous link between Spain and countries of the same language, culture and legal system, as well as being a rich contribution to the research of those interested in mediation.
