Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Valencia (since 1998). President of the University of Valencia General Foundation and Vice Rector for Communication and Institutional Relations (2010–2014). She is the first and only female legal scholar in the Spanish-speaking world to be part of the AKademiaNet Network (which includes influential female researchers from around the world). She has been awarded the Grand Cross of San Raimundo de Peñafort. She is an honorary consul of the Lonja and President of the Alexander von Humboldt Association–Spain. She is a member of the ValgrAI Foundation. She is a member of the General Codification Commission. She served on the Ministry of Justice’s Commission of 8 Experts tasked with drafting the Principles of the Law on Judicial Organization and Jurisdictional Boundaries from 2008 to 2009 and was a member of the LECRIM 2021 Commission. who received her scientific training in Germany (DAAD, Max Planck, and Alexander von Humboldt fellowships). Sole author of 22 books; co-author of nearly 700 books, some of which she edited (30). She has published articles in national and international journals. She has participated in 18 research projects (mostly as principal investigator). She has completed 6 six-year research terms and 6 six-year teaching terms. |
