Seminar 'Tourism, Lanscape and Environmental Resilience: entrepreneurship strategies for a sustainable future'. Thursday 6 November at Palmireno Room.
The Seminar 'Tourism, Lanscape and Environmental Resilience: entrepreneurship strategies for a sustainable future' is organised by the Chair of Citizen Engagement and Valencian Landscapes along with Aula de Emprendimiento y autoempleo of the Faculty of Geography and History, offering a promoting frame for student entrepreneurship to help local development, a session of analysis and discussion revolving around the relation between tourism, landscape configuration and cultural patrimony, and the challenges og global environment changes. With an interdisciplinary approach, the seminar will explore cases and experiences showcasing how tourism can act as a territory transforming agent and a sustainable solution catalyst.
Aimed for students of the Universitat de València Degree in Geography and Environment, the Degree in Tourism, the Master's Degree in Management Techniques for Environment and Territory, the Master's Degree in Cultural Patrimony: Identification, Analysis and Management, the Master's Degree in Coopration in Development and the Master's Degree in Art and visual Culture History', the seminar's goal is to highlight Aula de Emprendimiento y Autoempleo as well as to promote a critical and active vision on the role of territory planning, territory-cultural resources management and the innovation in resilient, responsible and adapted tourism model design that are environmentally sustainable.
