The recognition will be presented at the 10th ENATIC International Congress on Digital Law. The outcome will depend on its Board of Directors and the result of an open online voting.

The director of the Microsoft-Universitat de València Privacy and Digital Transformation Chair, Professor Ricard Martínez Martínez, was nominated for the ENATIC 2022 Awards in the category of Best Digital Jurist. 

His candidacy was proposed by the Board of Directors of the Association of National Experts of the ENATIC ICT Advocacy - Digital Advocacy. The 40% of the decision is made through an open online voting. You can vote until 10 November at 11:59 p.m. on the ENATIC-Digital Advocacy website.

The academic said he was honoured by the nomination, which he shares with lawyers Noemí Brito Izquierdo and Pablo García Mexía, both specialists in law related to digital matters.

“The profile of the nominees puts the «datification centred on human dignity», which accompanies the European digital transformation strategy, at the heart of the debate”, said Professor Martínez. “I encourage you to vote because, whatever the result may be, the recognition of a professional group that works every day to build the foundations that support our future will win”, he explained.

The award ceremony will be part of the 10th International Congress on Digital Law organised by ENATIC, which will take place on 24 November in Madrid.
