The objective of the project is to determine whether long-term teaching approaches, based on the Pedagogical Models of Cooperative Learning and Comprehensive Sports Education, can improve learning related to motor literacy and increase physical activity levels among third- and fourth-grade students.
Specific Objectives:
- SO1: To determine whether the implementation of long-term teaching approaches, based on the Pedagogical Models of Cooperative Learning and Comprehensive Sports Instruction, promotes the physical, psychological, cognitive, and social dimensions of motor literacy.
- SO2: To determine whether students participating in Physical Education classes with long-term teaching approaches, based on Pedagogical Models of Cooperative Learning and Comprehensive Sports Instruction, are more physically active than their peers who have taken classes with a traditional approach.
- OE3: Analyze the relationship between the physical, psychological, cognitive, and social dimensions of motor literacy and physical activity, considering the mediating effect of whether or not students participate in physical education classes with teaching approaches based on pedagogical models of cooperative learning and comprehensive sports instruction.
