Since 2008, GIRLC has been organising interdisciplinary scientific conferences annually, focusing on the analysis of a literary motif or topic in Greek and Latin literatures and their reception. The aim is twofold: on the one hand, to showcase the research conducted by the group in its own field—the reception of Latin and Greek literatures in subsequent literatures—and, on the other hand, to encourage an open research process, conducive to combining the training and efforts of specialists from different fields.

Additionally, seminars are organised to complement the Degree in Classical Philology, focusing on the study and translation of texts on specific topics not typically covered in the programme.
