Our research project aims to address the philological, literary, and social study of the reception of themes and motifs from ancient Greco-Latin literature in later literary traditions. To this end, we understand Greco-Latin literature broadly, including its later periods (that is, both Greek and Latin Christian literature, medieval Latin literature, Byzantine literature, and the Renaissance and humanistic realms), and we undertake the study of its reception up to the present day.

• Classical Reception. Study of the reception of the Greco-Roman legacy in successive culture, arts, and literature.
• Early and Late Antique Christian literatures. Study of the Christian literary tradition from its earliest manifestations to its consolidation.
• Textual criticism and text editing. Study and editing of the Greco-Latin textual tradition, from antiquity to the medieval and modern periods.
