- The theory and practice of constituent power; constituent processes; legitimacy of power; democratic principle as legitimising political organisation; conditions for the exercise of popular sovereignty.

- The origin and functions of the Constitution; the democratic Constitution through history and its present meaning
- The democratic interpretation of the Constitution; the intangibility clauses
