VESTIGIUM
The Digital library of important Valencian scientists and humanists of the XX century-VESTIGIUM is a non-lucrative project whose objective is to disseminate among the international scientific community and among the general public the recent scientific and humanistic heritage of the Valencian Country through a digital platform on Internet of open access and interoperable.
VESTIGIUM presents, in this first phase, the researcher and biographic profile of more than a hundred Valencian scientists of different scientific fields that were chosen taking into consideration its scientific production and impact. This information has been gathered in the main bibliographic information data bases.
The information of each scientist is presented in several sections:
A biographic profile that includes, among others, their area of knowledge, current job, academic merits and institutional affiliation;
A research profile that includes three bibliometric and social media analysis reports on its scientific production, impact and partners network;
A bibliographic profile that contributes a list of its scientific contributions included in the bibliographic data bases;
A section that provides information, through links, on the existence of scientific information in other external sources, such as the Valencia Library, the National Library, the institutional or particular websites and other resources and websites on the Internet.
All information is offered in an exchangeable and interoperable digital format, which allows its capture and dissemination in other media.
The VESTIGIUM desire is to progressively increase the repository of scientists and humanists of the Valencian Country, as well as updating the existing information of those who have been already reviewed.
