In addition to its collections, it has subscriptions to databases and electronic resources of great interest. Researchers and doctoral students can also access the UV Library Network, as well as its Archives and Documentation Centres. Laboratory of Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing

Professor Julia Salom is the person in charge of the Laboratory of GIS and Remote Sensing located at the Faculty of Geography and History of the UV. Its aim is to provide the necessary infrastructure for making cartography associated with its research projects, as well as for researching in the field of Geographic Information Systems. Remote Eye Movement Recording System RED250

It is a non-intrusive eye movement recording system that combines high-resolution camera technology with image processing algorithms allowing a sampling rate of 250 Hz. This system enables binocular recordings without loss of resolution or accuracy during screen reading tasks. The integrated BeGaze software enables advanced data filtering and analysis such as gaze path, fixation sequences, area of interest analysis or attention maps. The system is portable so it can be used in both laboratory situations and in educational or clinical contexts closer to the reader. Finally, the RED250 system can be integrated with other neurophysiological recording system such as EEG or biosensors.

SMI Eye-Tracking Glasses

SMI Eye Tracking Glasses 2 Wireless (ETG 2w) enables the recording of eye movements in motion and in everyday scenarios at a sampling rate of 120 Hz. Teaching and research laboratories

The Faculty of Geography and History is equipped with six Teaching and Research Laboratories that have been recognised for their excellence within the HÁBITAT 5U Campus of Excellence and renewed in their scientific equipment. The Department of Art History has the Santiago Sebastián Art History Laboratory, dedicated to the analysis, conservation and restoration of art objects, to which the Faculty has added a Laboratory of Analysis and Preventive Conservation. It analyses the dating and authentication of works, the precise knowledge of the materials used by the artist, the detection of repainting, the socio-historical interpretation of the time in which they were executed, the stylistic analysis or to highlight the possible underlying design and the conservation and/or restoration of art objects.
